• You will need to fill out my project inquiry form (in E-mail) to determine the overall objectives of your site.
Conduct phone & email input interviews
Design Once the initial objectives are determined, we will move onto the design part of the project.
• Visual Layout
• Select Color Palette
• Develop Navigation (menus, pages, organization)
3. Design Approval I will present you with the site design and sitemap to review and approve
4. Content Curation At this point, I will transfer the content from your existing website including photographs, forms, and other materials. Your firm is responsible for providing the content and for the accuracy of the content on the site. gather content from your current website, literature, forms and photographs.
5. Site Development Based on the approved design we’ll build your site, developing the administrative-end code and content.
6. Final Review Upon completion you’ll get a formal review checklist prior to site launch. The checklist covers all the relevant areas of your site. Your website project manager will be asked to independently review and approve the final site and content

I will conduct a half hour online training session with you to manage your WordPress website for the blog package and one hour for the basic and professional packages. The custom package will include more time depending on the nature of the website.

From time to time, people approach me to become a part of their start-up company. Usually the proposition is this: I do all of their web development, SEO, social media, and legal work for a minority share in their company. While it is an honor to have an equity stake in someone’s business idea, I most often turn them down for a few reasons. I understand the financial constraints most start-ups face. In my experience, however, the people who have approached me have not been cash-strapped start-ups, but rather, people who appear to value the idea more than the person who would execute the idea. This type of relationship undervalues my background and is really unprofessional. Second, I have several start-ups that I regularly work with. I am passionate about them and I have a majority stake. Lastly, my legal background places me in a precarious position of conflicts, duties, and responsabilities that I may not want to implicate myself in.
So before you go around waving equity for work–be realistic in your approach with these thoughts to ponder:
Why would anyone want to partner up with you? Is your idea revolutionary? Are you cash-strapped but passionate? Are you willing to offer a real stake in your company? Let’s be serious, 5% equity in a company for thousands of dollars worth of work and time for a tiny stake in your company is not worth many freelancer’s time. Doing the simple math: $100,000 of profit, 5% equity stake is $5,000 for the year assuming that your start-up has $100,000 in profits (not likely). Deduct more points if your idea is not novel (e.g. real estate market, classified ads, event company, and the like).
