Gianna attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she was a double major in speech communication and Spanish. She then began her legal education at the John Marshall Law School in Chicago. Gianna is an attorney licensed to practice law in Illinois and in the Northern District of Illinois Federal Court. She has her LL.M. in International Business and Trade from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago and is currently finishing up an LL.M. in Information Technology and Privacy Law also from the John Marshall Law School.

Gianna went to law school to become a criminal defense attorney. However, she graduated with a true passion for creating websites. Funny how things work out, which prompted her to fuse her  legal education and her love for technology by offering a total solution for start- up companies. Too many times entrepreneurs start a company without the proper protection, from tax implications to lack of a formal business entity. This lack of legal protection can be detrimental to a start-up. Accordingly, Gianna works with a dream team to offer legal transaction services, identity creation and management for entrepreneurs.

Gianna worked with several clients helping them with forensic social media auditing, cyber crimes, and reputation management. In a society where your reputation is everything, she has carved out a niche to help professionals optimize their web presence and monitor their reputations effectively.

The overarching theme for StrateGIA Inc.’s web start-ups has been to help attorneys harness the power of technology to enhance their practice. Today, clients use Google, not the Yellow Pages to find an attorney. Unfortunately, many attorneys are great advocates of everyone but themselves. Oftentimes, their marketing strategy ends up on the back burner while they are entrenched in their clients’ matters and … well, life. Gianna understands the tension that attorneys face in trying to create a strong web presence while staying within the ethical boundaries of professional responsibility. And, in all honesty, she cannot stand to see another poorly designed attorney website–the web has evolved since AOL circa 1998! Aside from the ocular disgrace of these websites, they are usually cumbersome, expensive, and frankly unprofessional. For this reason, many of my recent projects have included website design, development, & branding for attorneys.
